Our founder Joseph Belden believed that human ingenuity could push beyond technical barriers to solve the problems of business. It’s as true today as it was then.  For more than 100 years, Belden has been thinking forward—innovating. We created, built and patented the essential products and systems that make modern technologies work.

That’s 120 years of making today’s ideas possible tomorrow.

From the early days of the telephone to today’s work in digital transformation, Belden has played a pivotal role in the widespread delivery of every major technological advancement.

  

 


We helped build the grid that powered the inventions of Thomas Edison. We made the cable and systems that carried the first television broadcast and the communications of the International Space Station.
